Has anyone done this? I know of a few jeep people who have and has worked very well. Well enough to run air tools off it for 30 min or more. Anyway just looking for projects, not that I dont have enough all ready... lol

Thanks.

I've been looking into adding a second one for OBA, not willing to give up my A/C

My plan is to build a new powersteering pump bracket that holds the ps pump, an idler pulley, and the 2nd compressor over the gap on the NAS drivers side above the steering column.

All I've done so far is aquire a spare power steering pump. Need to draw it up in CAD and start playing the "what if" game with part placement.

I agree with you there about not wanting to give up the AC lol I wonder how it would fit on the lower right side of the engine? Where would you place the tank? How would you run the lines? Also do you think it would support an ARB locker? Ill bet the overall idea would work and wouldnt be too bad to do. I think the hardest part would finding a place to put it. As an after thought maybe lower right wouldnt work that well... Where do they take air in from? Water might be an issue... Thank you for your insite.

The compressor should support an ARB they don't use much air, and for the tank you just run lines wherever you want the tank to sit. However I think both of you may be overthinging this one, there are several companies making electric compressors that work great, that and aan upgraded alternator and you're set.
