A couple weeks ago I spent a lovely stretch in the Cascades with friends of mine who are driving from Alaska to Patagonia in their converted Ford F-350 ambulance. We timed the conditions to catch the color of the larches at their peak. Got to do some research for upcoming articles in OutdoorX4 and Overland Journal, stay tuned for those.
