Chris Snell, my father and I met up w/ Rob Davison to explore a little spot i know in Southern Utah. after a short little offroad driving we come to a nice sandy camp spot, a few miles more to the entrance of a little slot canyon. into the slot canyon for a few miles of rubbing and scraping.
having an average width of 8.5" in the narrow sections, this canyon is by far one of the tightest we've explored to date.

enjoy

Marc,

You suck!! How can you do that to me. I'll have to post up some pics of my exciting life working in East Los Angeles:smilelol: I went to Costco today and had a hard time squeezing the cart between irate shoppers. That's the tightest spot I've been in lately.

the gloves are Home Depot specials... "Atlas" brand gloves, best for the slots.

yeah - my camera battery was dead. marc didnt want to use flash, something about he would rather have blurry picts than the wrong color. he got his wish. :))

in reality the canyon was fairly intense and not that it was scary but a definite sense of urgency was on us while in the very narrow sections. you just dont feel like hanging out in there and snapping picts. in other words if i did have my camera i would have likely took few picts.

I had a great time. The narrow parts were awesome!

I'm now officially hooked on canyoneering. Can't wait to do this again.
