A door that doesn't open isn't a very good door... Any ideas?

Has anyone had an experience where the passenger door (or any door) won't open? It started a while ago by not opening from the outside, but would always open by pulling the latch on the inside. Now it doesn't want to work either way. I have to pull the door lock up higher than it should be to open it from the inside. Since I'm the driver it doesn't hurt to bad, but doesn't make my girlfriend real happy if it's raining (laughing doesn't help either). If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

I am having the same problem with my driver side door. Unfortunately, I don't have any solution to the problem yet. I was planning on taking apart the door panel to take a look this weekend, but never got around to it. The dealer wanted $130 to 'take alook'. I don't know much about locks, so if anyone has any advice, would greatly appreciate it.

Hey guy's read the other Post's

Now this Bloody door thing,is a Disco thing LIVE with it, there are manny ways around it appart from climbing in through the back door (I'v done that to)
I fixed my drivers side door (Right hand side door)which was doing the same trick as yours by doing the this:

Remove your door trim, You will see the Door lock rod has a 2nd rod attached with a small metal block. Loosen the small hex screw on the other, (sorter rod) not the Door lock rod.
You can now slip the shorter rod up or down just a little to fine tune your door lock actuator.

Or that's how it is on my D1

PS and it will doing again some time
