If someone reads this can you do me a quick favor and post the text below to the Discovery - Technical Discussions forum... For reasons that I don't understand, I can't post new threads there but I can in this forum. I've sent an e-mail to the admin but got no reply :(

Thanks !

I am just getting around to resetting the ABS light on my '96 Disco which came on during a camping trip back in June.

I followed the procedure posted in 2005 by Chris St. Louis using a paperclip to short pins 5 & 15 on the OBD II connector. The procedure worked fine except that I got the following two numbers for the error code: 13, 2 (in that order).

I had trouble finding a list of ABS blink codes (Ummm, shouldn't these be posted somewhere on DWeb ???) but finally found a .pdf file with the codes on the Rovers North website. Unfortunately there is nothing listed for code "13, 2". There is however a code that is the reverse (e.g.: 2, 13) which refers to a sensor gap on the left rear wheel.

Based on feedback from my original posting in June, it seems likely that my problem is an ABS sensor gap, but I'd like some feedback from the ABS gurus as to whether the blink codes come out in "reverse" during the diagnostic procedure compared to the way they are listed... I know the Brits fancy driving on the wrong side of the road, but has this affliction now spread to the blink codes too ?

I have not cleared the code yet, so there may be more goodies in store for me in the memory buffer...

Any help appreciated !

Thanks !
