Disco ABS Sensor Repair Procedure - Uploaded to RapidShare (see details)

>>>UPDATE<<<

I just uploaded the ABS Sensor Repair Procedure file to the RapidShare file hosting service. The .pdf file has been compressed into .zip format so you will need a .zip utility to extract it. You can download free .zip utilities (evaluation copies) on the internet, for example WinZip which runs in evaluation mode for 45 days:

Eventually I would like to have the damned file posted here on DWeb, but for the moment, this will have to do.

For those not familiar with RapidShare, it is a file hosting service that has both a Free and Premium option... If you are not a Premium (paying) member, the free service has a slower download speed, but you just click on the link below, select "Free" and let the download happen. A 20 MB file will not take all that long to download.

Note: The previous link to the repair procedure file on RapidShare had expired. I uploaded a new copy of the file on 29 Oct 2009 and the above link works as of that date.

PM me if you have questions or problems.

>>> END UPDATE<<<

I've written up a detailed procedure with pictures that explains how to repair the ABS sensors in the Disco. The procedure works for D1 model sensors, and might also work for D2 sensors (?)... I don't know what the D2 sensors look like, but if they are similar to the D1, the procedure should work just as well.

Anyway, I wrote up the procedure and then created an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file with the pictures. The file is 3 pages of text and then 11 pages of pictures with captions, so 14 pages total, and is about 19.3 MB in size, so it's way too big to be posted as an attachment to a regular post, and I don't have the right access privileges to post to the TSB section...

I sent an e-mail to the DWeb "Contact Us" address explaining the situation a few days ago, but no reply.

Any suggestions as to how I would post this procedure ? I just had a look at a procedure for installing heated seats that is somehow embedded in DWeb:

http://www.discoweb.org/seatheater/index.htm

I could rebuild my document in this html format from the current .pdf if I have to...

Any tips from the moderators or old hands ?

Thanks !
