I am buying an Autel 619. I want to be able to read all codes that it may throw. As for the current o2 issue, I have not gotten to removing the fouled sensor to see about the presence of oil.

However, show there be oil where it shouldn't be on the o2, how did you "oil proof" the sensor? I will be fixing the oil leak, once I find it. Oil proofing the sensor may be a good short term fix until the oil leak is located and fixed.

the valve covers leak into the sensor plug. clean it out really well by removing the plastic piece inside then pack it with dielectric grease. then replace the leaky gaskets or at minimun tighten them back up. 12pt 8mm 1/4 drive deep socket.
