ABS sensor extenders

Has anyone installed the extended lines for the ABS sensors? If so, how involved of a job is it?

Good timing on the post... I was just thinking about them again today. Who sells them? I've been away for a while.

I wish I knew who sold them. The guy that I bought my truck from had already installed the rears, but not the fronts. He included them with the truck so now I have to figure out how to put 'em in.

Why do you need abs sensor extenders?

The lines for the abs sensors aren't long enough to allow for full articulation with a lift and sway bars removed. In full articulation, they will break. The replacements are just a tad longer.

on the front of my D1 i simply re-routed the abs lines to follow the brake lines. doing this will give you tons of slack.

i'm running an RTE 3"front spring with a 11" shock, spring drops out and at full extension on the shock the abs lines are fine.

oh, if re-routing doesn't work give slickrock fab a try.
i think he was making up extended lines.

Hmmm, this is something that I hadn't thought too much about before. I wasn't getting much articulation before but I've since removed the front and rear sway bars. Hopefully I'll get out this weekend for some testing to see if I need to fit longer brake lines and ABS sensor lines. Maybe I'll throw a set in with my order of rocksliders when they're done (hint hint Dave).
