ACE Warning Light

My ACE Warning Light went Amber on the way home tonight. I understand what happens mechanically when this light comes on. When I got home and in the garage I turned the disco off and then back on. The light came on, as in the self check, passed and went out. So my question is was it reset and logged, I think it holds what the last 50 "trips". Should I ride it out or go ahead and contact the dealer to have them look at it. I am under warranty with 41k...

Thanks,
Terry

check fluid level for starters and consider getting over to the dealership pronto.
ACE is very sensitive to problems and driving with that light on can cause pump failure, which is extremely hazardous to the health of your wallet.

plenty of fluid....the thing that was getting me was that the light went out upon turning it off and back on.....I would think that if there was a problem that it would stay on.....

Report defect to dealer as its a warranty item.
This event is a warning for the future.
Perhaps if they don't find a defect today, it might help post warranty....

I called the dealer this morning, my first time dealing with them, and they were very nice. That is unusual for me when dealing with a dealer in general. The only thing that scared me was that the tech I spoke with didn't know what ACE was :( I am going to take it in at 8am tomorrow to be hooked up to the tablet.....I will post the outcome. They are also going to make sure that the ACE recall was completed.

Just got back from the dealer, and they said that the code pulled was for the Accelerometer that's above the rearview mirror. He said the computer has only one suggestion of it being parked on a slope prior to driving it. There appears to be nothing wrong code wise b/c it is cleared and not coming back on. They are going to replace the accelerometer anyways since I am under warranty so I am happy.... Just Updating so that if the ACE light comes on..think to yourself...."was I just parked on a slope" :D
