Adhesive Question

I'm putting D-II fender flares on my D-1 to allow for trimming/tire fit. Looking for tips on good adhesive. I searched the tech section article on doing this, and only got "industrial strength adhesive". Anyone with any experience here?

my freind gave me a roll of 3M double sided tape designed for stuff like that. not sure where to get it, but thats the stuff to use
