Adios to Landrover Problems

It sounds like it could be your transfer case, or maybe just an exhaust leak? If you hold a length of rubber tube up to your ear you can identify the source of the sound.

Pictures would help, but if I were in your shoes I'd plan on a new set of cats and possibly some new callipers. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Josh

Enjoy your trips to the mall.

EDIT: On second thought, this is probably the cheapest solution to fixing permanently the three amigos!

Bought a Pathfinder.. No more 3 Amigos!!!!!

BYE BYE

The guy that lives next to me just bought one of those. I sat in the back the other night when we went fishing it was like sitting in the back of a car. You steped up and then sat Down!. My hear was almost rubbing on the headliner and everything.

Originally he did pay about 2500 more for his then I did my DI but since I bought my 2" RTE lift and just ordered a new RTE Bumper and a winch. I think I have finally past him. By the time I get new tires I'll have left him in the dust.

Nobody ever said owning a Land Rover was easy or cheap. But they sure are fun to drive. :)

Maybe they should be renamed to the Three Blokes.

Edit:
Or I just thought about this Amigos are friends so I guess Blokes would not be the right term maybe the Three Mates

I am sure a Pathfinder is a good vehicle and I hope you enjoy it. I used to drive an older Nissan Pajero that belonged to the company I worked for in Jordan, and it was awesome.

You will certainly have greater reliability than with your Disco, but will you not miss the comradeship of the Discoweb, and the certain "je ne sais quoi" appeal of the Land Rover?

I assume you'll be resigning your membership in the RAC?

Bloody shame and all, thinking someone would lower their station in life on account of three little lights, a mere annoyance considering all we deal with on a daily basis.

Don't burn any bridges and forget us D'webber's because even though the Nissan might be more reliable...who's gonna' pull you out when you get stuck???? Well, I guess you COULD just get a real good winch. O'la

They're working on a 2001 Pathfinder today, timing belt service. Harmonic balancer rusted solid to crank. $188. Oil pan rotted and leaking. $400. Everything is rotted. Good call.

Parts definatly!!! repairs don't cost much unless I need machine shop work done.
