Replaced the lower hinge on my 03 Disco now I have a leak between the 3rd brake light and the corner of the door on the passenger side. Whats the best way to adjust the hinge?
Thanks
Eric

since you only messed with the lower hinge I would think you need to come out with the lower hinge a bit. That should bring in the top right. Make sure you leave one bolt tight on the upper hinge. Then you can hopefully just bring out the bottom without effecting the top much. You can move the door in and out at either hinge, just always have one bolt tight on the other hinge.

Have the door full open. Mark both your hinges in two places so you have a reference for which hinge is moving and how much. Use a floor jack with wood. I have supported the door on the underside but not on the seam/ edge of the door. DO NOT jack up the Rover using the rear door! Jack it up just till the rear bumper start to raise a little. There is your sweet spot. Then move your hinge, tighten and see if your happy with it.

I had to readjust the door striker for the rear door to close tighter.
It's held up very well for the past year with all the rain we have here in England.
