I was just at Advance here in town (Cheapest Fiat Brake rotors.:)) And found this...

$24.99 for 5 quarts AND a filter. Outstanding. Not sure on Edge, as its ACEA A5/B5, I dont know the specs on that yet, but the Syntec was on sale. Confirm ACEA A3/B3 on the back of the bottle. At the store I was at that was the 5-40 and the 5-50.

Shit, triple post! PLease delete the other 2.

Per the Castrol web sight neither Edge grades meet ACEA A3/B3. In fact they also don't list MB 229.5 or BMW LL-01.

They do claim more PAO for better low temp flow but the claim infers that Syntec has low temp flow issues.

Mmmmmm .....

I've been using Castrol Syntec 5W40 as it's the only thing I can find with A3/B3. Good stuff?
