Disco frame rails are pretty thin and I find it hard to believe it needed a new front clip and the airbags went off but did not have any frame damange.

probably a good first car for an inexperienced driver. ABS light is no big deal. pull the fuse so it doesn't accidentally start working again and teach him to pump the brakes.

pull the jump seats and sell them. you don't want to encourage massive amounts of people riding around in that thing.

camo for a 15 year old? how about a nice flat green. :D

and i think it'd be good for a starter car. it's cheap and he can steal parts of your truck. ;)

thats how the abs light works. It stays on until all 4 sensors pass a test then it goes out

don't paint it, i love that green on the disco. sounds like a decent deal and being '95, they can't hook up code reader for safety inspection, so just pull fuses and bulbs as things crap out.

My front end collision blew both my bags and pushed back the clip but the frame was fine. I pulled the clip out and re-shaped the headlight box but it would have been easier and better to replace the whole front clip.

P.S. I'll bet ten $100 bills waving in his face will get you the truck plus the springs....especially if his wife is there watching over his shoulder.
