I figure I'd post here since there is a lot more traffic on this site.
Anywho, I want to get a second set of rims for my 109 for some big LTBs. But I want to concentrate on getting a lightweight rim so that it'll keep the rotational mass down. I know the LTB will be heavy and a lighter rim will make it less of a problem.
So anyone out there know of any rims that I can get ahold of that are light, fairly easy to get ahold of, and not too terribly expensive? I saw those tube rims by equipe 4x4, but at $250 a piece, that is too much. Also I question how legal they are here in the US. I think I shall forgo beadlocks since I am only running a 34" tire. No need for them.
So any suggestions? Thanks.
