at the shop I work at, we couldnt seem to find ANY steel wheels to fit the lug pattern on my D1, everything is too small. we searched AR, Pro Comp, Pacer, etc... When you all run AR or those pro comp steel wheels, what lug pattern and mm offset are you all running? do you have to use adapters?

yeah they are AR i believe.

i am running stock CVs and yes they break alot when I wheel it hard. Not much in terms of "HD" cv's on the market now, rovertracks is coming out with a nice HD set due in the next 30-45 days. $700 for set.

the pattern you need is 5 on 6.5" with either a 4" or 4.5" backspacing.

there's plenty of people on this board (including myself) running 33's on stock driveline components with minimal breakage. as long as your axles aren't locked you shouldn't have too much trouble with those 32's.

The smart thing to do is to get someone to fab a spacer with a jeep or gm or whatever bolt pattern and then you have a vast array of choices of rims. :victory:

5x6.5 lug pattern...i cant find it ANYWHERE. procomp doesnt make one, AR doesnt make one, atleast as far as i can see. yet, i see D1s with these wheels often online. is the only way to run them is with adapters? or am i missing something?

you are missing something.

call GCR, get the AR part number, call your supplier with the part number... end of saga.

you might save $10 per wheel getting them at cost vs. buying them from GCR.

I just bought some 16x8's direct from AR ... you should count on "dinner for two" per wheel :)

Oh, and add shipping to that too.

Keith, did you manage to get the 5x6.5 lug pattern? do you have a part number for those by any chance?
