Air Condition Blower Fan

The blower fan on my 89RRC works at all speeds on everything but air conditioning. I did a search but no luck. I want to say that it may have worked at the higher speeds for a little while, but now the blower fan shuts off when the selector is moved into the A/C mode. Any ideas would be appreciated. I put a heater core in about four months ago.

It was the air condition/heater relay on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
