Air filter Replacements

I am looking for any part numbers, aftermarket filters or anything else useful as far as replacing the air filter. I would like to be able to drive to the local auto shop (the horrible autozone) and pick one up. Too bad Land Rover is not listed in their book of air filters. I live in the desert so a K&N, how great they are, is not my preferred choice. Cleaning a filter once a week is a little over kill. *$!&^*$ dust. So does anyone use anything from the local boys that fits. Oh and by the way, buying one online and then shipping it, in my mind defeats the purpose. Thanks

Read the Snorkle Thread. You might want to consider a K&N plus a snorkle with a good centrifagul precleaner.

NAPA carries airfilters that fit the Discovery. I don't know the PN as I use a K&N, and just have a NAPA lying around to use while my K&N dries after cleaning.
For what a Land Rover air filter costs, probably wouldn't take you long to recoup the cost of a snorkle ;)

I just order 2 or 3 airfilters and 5-10 oil filters at a time on line and they are cheap that way.
