Ashcroft
ARB
TJM

In that order

Ashcroft because it's a better design
ARB because the replacement seals are easily obtained
I wouldn't touch TJM in this country.

That's interesting. I had a buddy who bought a Toyota crawler that came with welded diffs. He was going to go with arb, but East Coast Gear Supply told him the TJM design was better than the ARB. He went with the TJM and has been happy with it. ... I'll check into the KAM locker.

I've had ARBs for around 5 years in mine and that seal is a pain in the ass. Every 2 years it starts getting flakey. Mine are the newer style ARB and the 3rds are toy 8", but a lot of the ARB parts are the same on rover diffs

The compressor is also a piece of shit It does not like airing up 35"s at sea level and forget trying at 8000ft

I went ahead and ordered Ashcrofts front and rear with 4.11 gears.

What weight gear oil is recommended for air lockers?

Ive been running Lucas 85/140 in the stock diffs for as long as I can remember and have never had any issues.

That's what I've been running for the last couple of months with my ashcroft lockers. Walmart branded dino oil. No negative consequences to report.
