For those of you who have a on board air sys Where do you hide the air tank? Since I am using the AC for a pump I am thinking about doing away with the rear blower and placing it there. It wont fit between the frame rails that I can see. Any other suggestions?

Thanks as always.

How big is it? can you fit it between the frame and the outside of the body without it hanging down too low?

I put mine outboard of the frame under the driver's side seat. The tank is long and thin so it does not hang below the frame rail, but still not ideal as it is a bit exposed in that position. I'm going to add a skid plate to help protect it.

If you are willing to give up some space inside that may be a better solution from a protection point of view. I did not want to give up interior space so did not consider this.

If you are building your own bumpers another option would be to design some closed volume into one or both and use that for air storage.

Thanks for the reply. It is a short squat thing. I wish it (the tank...) was a bit longer and a bit thinner... So it will hang a bit low, making the frame rails a no go. Wow this is starting to sound bad...
