Hood switch.

i have noticed my information thing saying "bonnet open" from time to time. I bet the hood switch is the culprit. Is it easy to change? Or reset? or whatever......

Maybe not the case here, but we left the sunroof open once and something must have gotten wet causing the alarm to go off randomly. After a day it stopped.

I had the same problem. Hood switch. Cheap, easy fix.

Definitely the hood switch. It takes about 1 min to replace.

Lots of things can cause it to go off, but the most likely culprit 95% of the time is the hood switch. A lot of the time it has been contaminated by grease from someone lubing the hood latches.

Hood switch. Cut it and splice the wires. Never happen again.
