Alarm problems

Hi all, with the all day rain the other day my '97 Disco got very wet inside passengers and the horns started blaring. Couldn't find the fob right away so I just pulled the
- battery cable. Now after drying out the alarm module I have no dash led, the fob will not work and the truck will only start if I pull the battery cable for 20 sec or so. I have another alarm module but I think you can only get the fob synced at a dealer.
Any ideas ? Its a '97 D1.

Also at some time the wiring has been fiddled with, on the green connector the solid green and the green with red tracer have been cut and on the gray connector there is what appears to be a red jumper with one end into the connector and the other just bare.

Did you check after reconnection, if keyfob started to work? You can press lock button for 4 times and after that, everything should be working as usual.
