Running over a few trees is so insignificant to logging and mining operations that I can't help but laugh at these tree hugging idiots.

My thoughts exactly. Ever been to an area that's been logged? I have and it's nuts. Aside from the obvious clear cutting of forests, there is a spiderweb of logging roads that aren't on any map and are indiscernable from actual roads/trails. Navigation is a nightmare.
I have a feeling these people crying foul about running over a (probably already dead) tree or driving through mud have never actual wheeled in a heavily forested area and just plain don't have a clue.
