Bought this a few months ago (used) to put in my DII, but then I bought a new daily driver with a DVD player in it from the factory. Since my Rover is a toy now, I no longer need this unit. Here are the specs:

The DVA-5205 DVD/CD player serves as an in-dash audio/video source for your Alpine mobile theater system. The Ai-NET input/output allows you to control the DVA-5205 with one of Alpine's Mobile Multimedia Stations (or any Ai-NET receiver). This versatile player can also serve as a stand alone unit ? just connect the audio/video outputs to your vehicle's video monitor and sound system, and use the full-function remote control to operate the player.

If you have a Japanese vehicle with a double dash opening, the standard-sized DVA-5205 can be mounted in your dash with your receiver. In other vehicles, its compact size allows it to fit in an overhead console, under a seat, or even in a glove compartment! An optical digital output sends the audio soundtrack to an optional Alpine surround sound decoder so you can enjoy the full, multi-channel theater experience.
