Alternator Votage

Not sure of the acceptable range, but mine has consistantly put out 14 volts since I've owned it.

My Alternator puts out about 13.7 volts at idle without radio, lights, and AC/heat.

I get about 13.6 volts at idle with all lights (including spot lights) AC on full, radio at full blast, and wipers on.

This seems normal but I was just trying to find some specs on the alternator voltage output.

anything above 12 is charging obviously, but around 14 is want you want. the close you get to 12 the closer it is to going out. if you get 13.6 with full load you're ok
