Probably a bunch of pussies there, considering it's an office. I say show up and show off.

Gear up in the rear, prep her for a run, and wear your good sunglasses. Be the bastard of the bunch. When it's all over, just tell the boys and girls that you are off to spend a few days in the wild.

Cheers,

Did the "event" go already? Any pics from it? Seen a few of similar types around my building office area (multiple buildings 6 or so). Never stopped by to look at it up close but seemed like a random collection of bikes, cars, etc.

Happens Oct. 21 I think. I have to get it inspected first which means driving out of town to some bootleg state inspector because I don't want to deal with emissions.

Inspection has been out since May or June.

Disco is looking good. Why wouldn't you take it to the company car show?

I've been to a few company car shows at friends companies and depending on the size of the company there is sometimes a trophy for every possible category. Southwest Airlines puts on a fun car show every year.

Whats up with it where it won't pass Harris Co emissions? Anything OBD2 should pass as long as the light has been off.

My light has been on for years due to O2 sensors that I don't give two shits about, my ABS light is on too because I pulled the fuse. Plus the crack in the windshield, I don't want to hear any shit about it. It's not in my field of vision but it goes all the way across the windshield. Country folk will pass it.

I took it to a place in Austin years ago and he failed me for a leaky power steering hose and I mouthed off or something, he ended up actually chest bumping me in the damn garage. I would rather just avoid that...

I hear ya, I had a similar incident with my 97 when they checked the ps fluid during an inspection and somehow unhooked the battery in the process due to a loose terminal. I was pissed that they were messing around under the hood and assumed they were trying to scam up some additional work, but it turns out that leaky power steering is now part of tx emission county inspections.
