Anyone watching it? I don't watch reality shows much, but I'm hooked on this one. This time they are starting out in Iceland, wow! Remember that post from a few weeks ago about Iceland pictures and D90 with huge tires? Yeah, the scenery is just like that!!! They've had a couple of shuttle buses that looked sick with those monster tires on flying over snow fields!!! Also, looks like the new Land Cruiser is out in that part of the world, kinda looks like the GX470.

just found pics...

I think the Amazing Race is the ONLY thing I can actually sit all the way through on TV. I actually am dissapointed when it is over. (No, wait, Alias is pretty good too. But really, not Law & Order, not the news, not anything!)

While it may be "badged" a landcruiser, it's based off the 4-runner frame/engine. So it's the same as the Lexus GX470.

The LX470/LandCruiser remain unchanged till 2007 when a "new" LX comes out (no word yet on the new LC, but I would assume a 2008 debut after it's upmarket cousin)

The FJ Cruiser will be out for 2006, It is also 4-Runner based, (frame and engine), but will be aimed at the "Defender" market. Rugged angular exterior lines, spartan interior trim (rumor is the entire interior will be water proof so you can hose it out) (If you need to hose down your interior...You've obviously gotten into some DEEEP &*^%) V6 standard and V8 optional (just like the 4-Runner), but, in theory, priced under/around 30K.

Just hope they make it look better than this.

So they're going to build the FJ Cruiser. Excellent - I've had my eye on that one since the concept appeared. And also hoping it would lose the "design-y" look before it went into production. If they won't give us Defenders, this might work instead.

Toyota Lunal Rover

At least that's what it looks like to me.

Hopefully, the rear passengers will have a better view than the inside of those wide rear pillars.

I'll stick with the Defender, thank you very much :) Classic looks, classic leaks, what more could you want?
