Will they include the part where half of the current citizenry are self-loathing sheep who think they are the independent ones among us??

It was great until Obama had draw comparisons to our founders vision for America and how he is on-board with the same... Seems to me he's 180 out... Not trying to turn this into a Obama hate fest but the dude failed history if he thinks hes in line with them... Oh and Gates getting his pitch in for the color perspective, I cant wait until the the series get to the 60's and civil rights...

I had forgotten that Sean P Combs was now an historian. What college does he teach at? I'll have to pick up his book on early American history, maybe I could use it in class.

Martha Stewart, the co-founder of Wiki (which is obviously the best place to go to get history) Prof. of Beer Gates, and Gordon Gecko are also throwing in their well-thought out and researched (no doubt on Wikipedia) observations on American history -- WHAT A TREASURE!

When you're kids come home from school and tell you that they don't like history, or they try to tell you that it's not important... well, this tripe is your explanation.

If this is learning from history, we're doomed to repeat it.

Aaaah, now Sheryl Crow got something to say...about slavery...
Oh wait, Rev. Al Sharpton is on...and John Legend..

Can't we just have a program based on historical facts, without political view sidebar comments from El Retardos?

At what point in time in the English language did the rule of a consonant and a vowel change? I'm serious. I grew up and have been educated both in school and college that when the subject begins with a vowel it is preceded with an and when the subject begins with a consonant it should be preceded with a. WTF did this change. I have noticed it a lot lately. Is it like kewl to not pronounced the h in history ie istory? Just wondering.

Um... actually, I think 'an' is appropriate for a few words... like historian. But normally you would be right. I'm sure Puffy would know.

I really try not to write bad on the internets. But I do miss those prepositions when I'm writing on these posts -- I see it all the time in my own posts!

By the way, I didn't use punctuation till I was in my junior year of high school. I didn't know how.

RB, what I meant was, Clinton was the first person I heard use "an historic". I remember thinking that sounds so incorrect. But I was not concerned about it enough to go look it up. I have since heard so many others (mainly presidential candidates) use it, that I presume it must be correct.
Sorry for the confusion.
