where i'm at right now, duh...
The International CXT features the legendary International ? DT 466 diesel engine with a horsepower rating of 220 hp and 540 lb. ft. of torque capable of hauling or towing pretty much anything you can put into or behind it. Other horsepower ratings are also available.

My dads diesel ford has 525 lb. ft of torque. I just thought it would have more power than a stock powerstroke...

White was going to sell a SUV version of the Unimog a few years ago. Based on feedback they realized they'd probably only sell a handful and dropped (sensibly I might add) the whole idea.
All that looks like is a tarted up existing IH medium duty truck, typical of what's used by line crews and other utility services.

hahaha that thing is ridiculous. The crew cab is nice but i think they look better with the dump body like the one I used landscaping this summer.

It ain't just about horsepower numbers. It's about that TIMES the number of hours this engine can develop that HP without trashing itself to bits.

Alyssa? I need a new car . . .

Through equal parts sophisticated technology and plain common sense, International ? DT 466 engines deliver performance, reliability, durability and low cost of ownership. The International DT 466 engine features ratings from 210 to 300 hp and peak torque from 520 to 860 lb-ft and is available with economy drivelines. For medium-duty applications, there's no better engine to own, operate and maintain.

I see what you mean Peter, but what makes that engine different than my dads powerstroke when it comes to withstanding loads for long periods of time?
Is the powerstroke a weak engine that doesn't last long?

Well, being that it seems that every 5 foot nothing blond rich bitch has a H2 [or a mercedes G-Wagon] in my neighborhood, I'm sure i'll see a couple of these as soon as they are for sale... they always have to be unique!

Man... for >$100k, I think I will stick with my F350 crew.

That mog comment and size of the IH, got me thinking of really big trucks.

This one is right down the street, has been for a while, how about an 8 ton truck, 6x6, PTO winch and enough balls to pull out stuck tanks?

$20k and you could have bruised kidneys for the rest of your life. ;-)

The site says it comes with new Michelin XL 16x20 tires, I think those are something 52.9" x 17.2"!!!

Yes, if your task is to tow tens of tons of stuff behind for thousands of hours. That's what the IH was designed for, originally.

Funny thing is I saw one of those driving down the road here in Utah. I thought it was a custom build. Wow, I can buy one too! That thing was so big it was insane. Of course I was in my little d1 at the time, so I suddenly felt this envy and this sudden need to compensate for my short commings.
