All, I have an old Scangauge, which worked great, but didn't read all the codes thrown by my '00 D2.

Yesterday I tried out a new solution: A bluetooth ODB2 interface with the Android 'Torque' app. It works fantastically well! It read and cleared the EVAP code my Scangauge couldn't, does a great HUD mode, as well as trip calculator stuff. Highly recommended, $20 total investment.

I bought a elm327 dongle off ebay for like $10 shipped from HK, and have been using torque pro. The pro version is definitely worth the cost over the free version.
