I had the no dash/tailight issue.
So as suggested here in many posts.

I did the healight switch swap.

it DID NOT WORK.

I changed Fuse 1/2/3/8

IT DID NOT WORK

Where do I go from here?

Try looking at the glove box light assembly.

I found a short in the glove box light to metal frame, after 10 blown fuses.:banghead:
Rapped frame with PVC tape & put a layer of silicone on the metal arm that hold the bulb on the light fixture. 4 years later dash & tail still lights are working.:)

ok so I went outside and turned the truck on, opened the glove box and no light.

I checked again for blown fuses.......none

I turned the headlight switch one click to the asc. and I have light to the glove box, headlights, and taillights.

I click to the headlights to the on position and I loose the taillights and the glove box light.

Are you saying I should pull the light assembly to the glove box out next?
