1/3 in gas tank, 1/3 in crank case, 1/3 in intake = nada. No smoke. None. At idle, at revs, nothing.

I feel a little let down as I was expecting a big show ;)

What worked best for me is make sure the engine is nice and hot, to put 1/3 to 1/2 in the intake, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then drive it like I stole it. The bottle says let it sit for 5 min, but I called seafoam directly during my panic attack earlier this week and they recommended letting it sit longer and driving it hard.

I ran seafoam through a second time tonight and still got tons of smoke, but this time no problems like earlier this week. The smoke was quite plentiful, but it disappeared after a couple minutes. It reminded me of the movie Uncle Buck but no gunshot backfire after shutting it off.

I may do one more treatment in a few days.

I've been reading your threads. Perhaps I'll run more through. I let it sit for a few minutes and then started and idled; occasionally revving to 2,500 and holding. No smoke.

I tried seafoam again for a 3rd time last night. I put 1/2 bottle through the intake immediately after getting home from work with the D2 (a 20 mile drive), so the engine was nice and hot already. I let it sit 15 minutes, then I revved the engine at 2500RPM until the smoke started (and BOY did it start again!). Then I drove it like I stole it shifting manually through 1, 2, 3, and never used D. I raced as high as 4500RPM in 2nd gear, and got up to 70 in 3rd gear. This time, the smoke stopped after only a couple minutes and my D2 had no problems. In fact, I cleared the SES light and it hasn't come back on, on my 20 mile commute to work this morning. This is a first!

If you're not getting smoke, I'm thinking your engine is already clean (lucky you!).

I'm glad it -- eventually at least -- worked out for you. I was kinda paranoid after reading your threads, but went ahead and did it anyway. I might run some more through today since I'm going to change the oil this weekend.

Ran another can through. This time, it did make a little white smoke only out the tailpipe and only when revved up near 3 grand. I do have weird popping/combustion sounds coming from the exhaust/cats, when I rev it high and then let off completely.
