Since you didn't say there were any other codes than 2-2, I assume all six were the same.

If the codes were all the same, I don't think the old codes, which I believe are historical occurrences of the problem, would disable the system currently until cleared.

However, if your abs light were currently on, I think that it indicates a current problem that might disable the abs, depending on the nature of the problem. If you were able to clear the code and the light didn't come back on, and the abs system is now functional, then it would suggest an intermittent problem (which would also be suggested by multiple occurrences of the same fault code). In my case, I had 48 occurrences of a fault code for bad wiring on a wheel sensor. Each one probably represented one time the abs light would come on while driving, and then go out by itself or the next time I restarted the truck.

So ... mysteries of abs. Knock on would, and maybe your light will stay off. Good luck!
