good work and fair price?

I'm curious, when you say "a good LR mechanic" what exactly are you refering to? Are you saying you're looking for a competent, capable, able, knowledgeable, experience, skilled, proficient, trust worthy, fit, expert mechanic?

I haven't been in this LR game for as long as most of you and this is my first time working on a LR. But I can tell you this, when it comes to the basis chassis, engine and suspension, by far this is one of the easiest vehicle I have ever worked on. Everyhing is easily accessable and no special tools are needed.

So if you're looking for a skilled mechanic you may want to broaden your search, instead of limiting yourself to a "LR mechanic" In my opinion, this is one of the main reason why LR are so high to maintain. There's a common belief that only "LR mechanics" can work on LR's.

Now if you're looking for someone to re-wire your LR or to fix an electrical gremlin, then you might have a point for searching for a "LR mechanic"
