The son-in-law of my boss owns a Mini and just got a quote for some repairs. He'd like me to check and see if they're legit.

The kid ran over a tire.

Bumper and core support $1000

Bushings on lower control arm $1000.

Any idea if these seem reasonable?

Thanks.

Dude, take it to DNI body shop here in ATL (I see you are in ATL). Its on Northside between 10th and 14th street. The guy that runs it knows his shit, does good work and the work is reasonable.

Ask to see his shop. Downstairs is where all the cool shit it. Once you see the work down there, you know he is for real. He can probably do a better quote for ya.

He fixed my friends car. Did a good job, quick turn around and for a reasonable price. Quoted SIGNIFICANTLY less than anyone else. BTW, car worked on was a Scion Xa. He will fix anything.

Name, according to the google is "DNI Glass and body". See what they say.

Sounds like the quote was from a Mini Dealer... most of those parts can be bought much cheaper. For that matter you can upgrade for less than half those prices.

Find a yard, thats too much. You dont need new on either if you can find a low mikes that was hit in the back say. We looked into Mini CooperS's and well, that was just it they are buzzy and flimsy, hardly a BMW

iirc the front end rad support is weakly screwed in with like two or 3 m6 looking bolts, very flimsy. If its needs that, i am surprised thats all it needs..

try somewhere like here for a LCA
