ENGLISH? Isn't that some fancy-schmancy Your-O-Peein' talk? This is AMERICA, dadgumit, we speak AMERICAN! :victory:

Well Kris, since you are a generally cultured well educated PITA, may I remind you America took the name from his original discoverer Americo Vespuccio ( from Italy ) and then officialized by Cristobal Columbus ( from Spain ) so, in other words you fucking gringos should either speak Italian or Spanish :D

wait... they already speak spanish in Kalifornia

Funny, but kinda wrong. Not original discoverer. Earliest possible departure date for Amerigo Vespucci from Spain was 1499. Columbus was 1492, and if being pedantic about continents vs. islands, explored South America on his third trip in 1498.

And it should be Italian... they were both Italian.

Or should it be Spanish? They both sailed from Spain, too.

:D

None of this matters, everyone really knows that America was discovered by the Irish. St Brendan sailed here in 512AD. It's just the rest of the world refusing to acknowledge Irish accomplishments, as usual.

Maybe we should be speaking Cherokee, Swanee, Seminole, Navajo since they were here first.

I read somewhere that when our forefathers were determining our official language that it came down to english or german. Weird.
