Any tips on removing a broken thread adaptor?

For my Madman EMS I installed a thread adaptor for Madman in the top of my 300Tdi to fit a new coolant sensor. Reinstalling it today I unfortunately snapped the adaptor. (I was warned in advance this could happen).

I had put some teflon tape on the threads at least.

What’s the safest way to get this out?

I have a set coming tomorrow. I think it will work for this but I’ve never used them before

Tapped in a T50 bit and was able to ease it out. Not a big deal, I know, but it's one of those things that I'd just never run into before and didn't know how much of a pain (or not) it was going to be.
