i run mudders on steelies, and all terrains on alloys for my mild manor reporter job for the Daily Buggle. and i am getting tired of swapping tires, back and forth. so i am gonna run MTs on Alloys(maybe). and the question i have is how hard is it to crack one of these stock alloys, I would surmise that the weakest point is the outer ridge of the rim. smack it on the rock it cracks, chip breaks off and the tire deflates, time for spare. is this the general idea? i see more and more companies coming out with alluminum rims with beadlockers, and seen a few crazies rock bashin a set of alluminums around Tellico, and was hoping someone had some insight. i know steel bends and is forgiving . i just dont have any history with Alloys and Rocks. being a Native Floridian
