could be that doctor that came to a few ROVERS events. i don't think Bob Raffensperger has a 110. everything else, but not a 110. i think Bob lives in Harrisburg though. guy has an amazing collection of rovers. he drove a series IIA from PA to Alaska and back.

No this guy is around the shrewsbury area and he has this mechanic work on it a block down from my house on mt. rose ave. in york I drive past the garage once in a while and see it. but I know who you are talking about with the seriesII I saw him stopped parked at the weight in station on 83 heading towards harrisburg, it was a green or black one with a crap load of stuff done to it, I was going pretty fast to check it out I just honked.

Are you talking about the garage at the top of the hill that always has old cars?

I grew up on the Main Line and lived in Chester County for I while. My Disco is from Main Line Land Rover. I was at the first R.O.V.E.R.S. meeting. But I left. Hey you know why New Jersey doesn't drift off into the Atlantic Ocean? Because PA sucks.

Go LR Main Line!

Very funny joke... have actually not heard that one before!

I just haven't seen too many people from PA on any of the Rover forums. Also, are there good places to take my Rover 4 wheeling in PA? I know of the place in Hazelton. I can't think of the name of it right know, but a few friends and I planning to go there.

Is that the place with the brown dog that lays in the front yard? LOL, sorry, that just sounds like some directions we got recently when we were lost in VA.

i think he fled to AZ because the wifey promised a life with a Chevy Cobalt and a family of Knomes in the front yard. not to mention they now have matching Star Wars outfits for those kick ass conventions in Vegas.

Dayum, all that AND Trekker ("Don't call them Trekkies!") conventions, too? I always knew Rob was the best of you PA boys.

KJ, gnomeless :(

what are you looking for??

and what part of PA? or the whole Commonwealth??

can´t remember if you have said you checked out www.roversclub.org or not yet it is a good source to start.

one of the board posters, Alyssa, works with the LR dealer on the Main Line and feel sure she has a wealth of knowledge she might pass on to you.

my area is the Western part around Pittsburgh - closer to Seven Springs ski area.

let us know more and feel sure you will receive alot of help here.

I was just home in Dubois for the past 2 weeks. But Im back in Japan now. Paragon is pretty cool from what I hear. My brother-in-law and his family are talking about opening an off road/ ATV / dirt track in the area.

Yeah, Paragon, that's it. I've also heard of Rausch Creek. Are these good places?

they are good in the sense that they have lots of trails ranging from mild to wild. Rausch Creek is smaller and is not as crowded on a nice sunny weekend. they are both pretty close to each other as well. off route 81 that runs north/south.
can't really say that one is better than the other. Paragon is pretty huge and you could spend a few days in there and not hit the same trail twice. that is if you are willing and skilled enough to tackle the more difficult trails.
