So a box shows up yesterday from APX Autoparts out of tabor city NC. It contains ONE shock. Very odd. I didn't order it. My name is on the packing slip as it would show via eBay or PayPal. $17 invoice marked paid. Purchase order says "EBay" terms says "Paypal" - never ordered it and nothing shows on PayPal.

Anyone have any ideas? Ever happen to you?

Needless to say I'm changing my PayPal password right now. But?? How what who when??

What kind of shock is it? Does it even fit your truck?

One idea would be to call them up, thank them for sending the shock, and asking where the other 3 are.

When I was in high school this kid I knew got into major legal trouble by stealing credit card numbers, ordering all kinds of stuff, and having it shipped to addresses where he knew the residents were on vacation. It doesn't sound like you have been inadvertently involved in someone else's fraudulent activity, but the coincidences are bizarre. Maybe the company had another customer with an identical name?

My work computer blocks their homepage due to "inappropriate content, those that contain malicious code, and/or those that provide services that may be unsafe".....
