anyone ever remove the rear quarter windows and put something else there?

so my drivers rear quarter window is busted out, and they want 450$ to replace it.

So I was thinking of doing some kind of mod there...

either install some kind of quick grab cabinet or put snap on plastic window of some sort

anyone done this before?

no but i bet you could get a used piece of glass and a seal for under 30bucks

Get a used one and new gasket. There's several places that sell used Rover parts on the net. If you have a Pick Your Part or something like that around, some of them in the SF are have real deals on used glass replacments, but I don't now about where you are.
