Just got our '06 LR3 last week and activated the radio over the weekend. The Sirius will be playing like it should, then just shut off and give the message of call Sirius to subscribe (or something like that) As per the manual, it says to shut the vehicle off for 2 minutes, then restart and the radio should function as normal again. This does work, but we can't be pulling over every few miles to turn the truck off so we can listen to the radio. FWIW we had a hellava time getting it to acquire the signal the 1st time.

Anyone else share this problem? Owned it a week and it is going in for service next week:) Gotta love the Rovers.

Mine works with roof rack too and only would have problems if i had snowboards or cases on my rack.

This sounds like something wrong with the Sirius receiver, or rover.

Dealership did some sort of computer/software update that seems to have fixed it. Weird truck this LR3 is.. but it wouldn't be a Rover w/o at least some issues.

FWIW, the update didn't fix it, so it has been back to the dealer again for a replacement of the antennae, which hasn't fixed it either. 3 trips to get the dang radio to work properly. Kind of disappointed that it hasn't been fixed yet. I've got a $40k truck with a radio that half works!
