My sister is stationed there with her Disco one and is always looking for fellow rover people. Iam hoping to get down that way with the d2 and my dads d1 this summer. And does anyone know how hard it is to pull the valve covers off a d1

valve covers are easy enough. there are 4 bolts holding each on but there are some ancillaries and lines that have to go.

...valve covers take a tricky socket to remove. I think it's a deep-well, 8mm, 12-point, 1/4" drive.

....and if you do not already have the "new style" gaskets, you'll need the longer bolts.
