Anyone towed a 1999-2002 Disco II behind their Motorhome?

OK, Mr. Literal. Of course it's possible, it's right in the owners manual. Might want to check it out sometime. Since you don't want any opinions, you didn't have to post in the first place, right?

One last post, then I'm through.................If you read my original post, I ask for clarification on what to put the automatic transmission in (which I got) and, more importantly, I ask if anyone had towed a disco behind their Motorhome that I would like to talk to them.

Transfer case in N, Trans in PARK. Key in position 1 (NOT ON) so that the steering wheel will not lock. You can disconnect the battery if it is going to be a long trip, or just make sure all accessories are turned off. I have done this for 10k miles with no issues.

To do it legal in most states you need to have a supplemental braking system on something flat towed the weight of a disco.

There was a guy from my town here that towed his disco 1 all over behind his motor home without any issue.

I once owned a nice D2 that saw twice as many miles being dinghy towed behind a diesel pusher than it had pushing itself down the road. Completely slipped my mind until I read this thread.
