Currently on Ebay -- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Land-Rover-Discovery-II-Suspension-Lift-Kit-2-Aluminum_W0QQitemZ120168874551QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120168874551

"This is a set of 2" CNC machined aluminum coil spring spacers, that can be used on a Land Discovery Series II 1999 through 2004 non air ride rear. This will provide 2" of extra lift for bigger tires or more ground clearance, while still using the stock springs / shocks, or with after-market lift springs / shocks. This kit has the front shock relocation mounts."

My stock springs and shocks have plenty of life and unless this product is total dog crap I'm thinking of using it. If anyone's got another opinion please let me know (not going to be towing anything and truck sees dirt roads, snow, and the occasional field, nothing too nasty) ... TM

I've been using a set for the last 3 years from Toddco. I use them with my OME 2" lift. They have been great. It's and easy and cheap way to add some lift. I did have to get longer shox once I removed the rear sways.

Double the cash and get a good used set of springs ans shocks for the lift. The spacers allow more ground clearance and bigger tires for the truck, but they do not improve suspension travel. It is a cheap way to get clearance, but you will end up doing an OME or RTE lift in the future anyway if you want better performance off-road.

My question: why the spacers? Cheap lift? Bigger tires? More clearance for the trail?
A bit more flex in the suspension will serve you better on rocky trails.

When you answer that, you might have a better idea of what you need.
