I think one of the usual parts guys, Marty I think, just sold one of these used. Perhaps whoever bought it can comment on how they like it.

I've had the Borla version on since 2006 so I've forgotten how it sounded but it's definitely louder than my stock 96 disco. the borla is sometimes annoying on the 8 hour highway drive but otherwise i like it just fine.

I've had this on for about 6 months. It has a rumble to it, and I'm sure I'm getting AT LEAST .1 mpg better gas milage.

I wouldn't say it's too loud, I like it. Be careful when you install it, there is a seat belt bolt that sticks down and if you are not careful you'll get a rattle.

I bought mine off eBay, listed them by price including shipping, then make an offer below that and they took it.

I picked up the used one Marty was selling. Its louder then stock but not to bad. Has a nice deep tone. It just make the V8 sound like it should. This exhaust teamed up with some headers and high flow cats will sound great.

I picked up the entire system off the 'Bay from 2 different sellers for $860.00 (16888-$460.00 & 93689-$420.00) Sold the Cats for $220.00 to a scrap dealer online. It is louder than stock but not bad. I had no problems fitting the whole thing. I think the two sellers were liquidating inventory as they accepted my best offers & are no longer around.

Bought one today for $474 shipped. How was the install?

The one I originally ordered was out of stock and they cancelled the order. I found another place online for $3 less. It should be here tomorrow. If the weather cooperates I'll try and get it installed early next week. I'll also post a sound clip.

It's kind of funny, but I've never actually heard my exhaust from outside the vehicle, minus a few throttle blips, as nobody else is allowed to drive it.

If I let someone to take the wheel for a couple of passes down the street I'd actually know what it sounds like. That would feel very strange...

Cheers,

Kennith

I am running an off the shelf 3" magnaflow in the middle with no rear box and it sounds perfect. I just went to my exhaust guy and spent $200. But if you don't have anyone local you can trust to do a good job then I guess a $600 cat back is OK.

$600 was too expensive but I can live with a full SS mandrel bent cat back exhaust for $471. It should be the last exhaust I will have to put on the vehicle.

My wife drives my truck when there is no other option, but I like it. I think she looks hot driving it and I get to admire my truck. ;)

Finally had some nice weather to install the exhaust. Here are some pics and videos. Headphones or decent speakers work best for the sound clips.
