Are d1 and d2 radiator caps the same size?

Not sure, Just doing some reading, and the D1 coolant pressure is 15psi, whereas the D2 seems to be 1.4Bar. (which is 20.03psi). This would indicate a different cap set pressure.

Yes, more reading and that is corrrect.
I would be sure to get the right part. knowing the engineers, it was the same size....lol. As they saved $ on the tank remanufacture, but the pressures are definitely different.
