ATTENTION 285/75 owners

so to the guys who run this size
you are supposed to run these on atleast a 7.5" rim
is everyone who runs these doing that.. because i thought that i have seen some of your guys rigs running this size tire on stock rim?
i am trying for 295/75 and need to by a 16x8...
but what are u guys runnin'?

I am running 285/75 on stock DII alloy rims with absolutely no problem

thats the same as guys turning 235's, they are suspose to be on a 5- 6.5 inch wide rim or series steelies.! but, i wounder if they know that? cupping of the thread? been there and done that. now run 34-10.50's swamper. wont look back. ask me if i care about how they work on the pavement!....... LOL... :)

285 on stock rims is not Ideal but will work just fine. You may need to run slightly lower air pressures to get the contact patch just right. Those #'s are recomended wheel widths from the tire maker. Just like the "recomended" tire sizes from the auto maker :D

Bling or not, those Pro-Comp fake bead locks look pretty damn strong.
