Is there much to do in the area? I'll be there for work. Any decent fly fishing? Won't have a lot of time but it might be nice to slip out an evening or two if there's anything local.

Now you are going to my area! How far do you want to go or can you go? My family has a cabin in Rangeley and there are great streams all around it that are loaded with little brook trout. My grandfather and uncle have a farm in Wilton which isn't to far from Auburn and I think there is a stream that runs on the backside. I don't know how the fishing is though.

I'll give you a call before I head up there. I'm not too sure how much time I'll actually have. I'm picking up a 1 weight tonight from a Guy on Craigslist. Might be a good place to try it out.

Auburn is the next town over from me. Great fly fishing around and perfect timing. Im more than happy to show you some of my spots on the weekend. In the evenings I can meet up to a local spot about 10 mins outside of Auburn, sawyer bridge on the little androscoggin river is my go to spot. Some good resturants and some night life if you want it.

I've altered my plans so I can stay and camp on the weekend of the 6th to the 9th.
Now I need to find a camp ground in the area and a place to keep my dog when I'm working.

I drive through there every other week on my way to Rangeley, nice town. Haven't been able to fish out that way but want to try lake auburn.

Let me know what you are planning, I'm sure I could break away for a day or two.

Kennebunkport is a nice place to check out too, actually there are lots of nice places to check out around here.
