so now after putting about 8K on the disco, at times I can hear the revs of the engine thru the radio/speakers, as in an electrical hum/interference, before I start to pull every thing apart has anyone expireienced this and what was your fix.... Ground? radio relay? and NO turning up the volume is not the answer I am looking for ..... thanks - Andy

Cheap plug wires are a big factor, but also if this is an aftermarket unit, make sure the power wires are not wired to the fuse box in a "make shift" way, or to any ignition components. Also, check the ground.........

it does have the factory head unit, as far as the wires go, all i know is they are blue, and somewhat recent i beleve, I will start with grounds as my first step, thanks dan -A
